
I am trying to build opportunities into my day to get more exercise. We have all heard how important exercise is. Being physically active can help manage your weight, it can strengthen your bones and muscles and help with overall aging, all things that I want.
It can also help with good mental health, help get rid of anxiety, increase happiness and improve your mood. I also find that exercising helps me think through things and come up with some of the best plans!
So how can I build more exercise into my day (as unfortunately I can’t add any extra hours):
- I’m competitive. I’m buying myself a fitness tracker and challenging myself to taking 10,000 steps a day.
- I’m going to use the stairs more instead of the elevator.
- I’m going to walk to places where possible instead of taking the car.
