Sledging

So first of all, is it sledding or sledging? My American friends think I am pronouncing ‘sledding’ wrong (as this often happens when I say words that are perfectly normal to me, and they have no idea what I’m talking about). As an English person I would say ‘sledging’, and Google tells me that sledging is ‘the activity of traveling or sliding downhill over snow on a sled’- so am correct!

Anyway, we are meant to be getting a lot of snow this weekend, so I will be enjoying some sledging with my boys as both of them love the snow so much. Happy weekend to you all!
